An overlay injects a widget that tries to repair the page in the browser after it loads. The HTML your server sends is unchanged.

A second toolbar

Screen-reader users often already have their own tools. An overlay adds another layer on top of those tools.

The HTML never changes

Crawlers, anyone with JavaScript blocked, and assistive technology that runs first still receive the broken page.

A badge is not a fix

In 2025 the FTC settled with accessiBe over claims that an overlay could make any site compliant. IncludePress will not make that claim. FTC settlement with accessiBe (2025).

The repair belongs in the content WordPress stores, with a rendered-page filter only as a fallback. Every fix can be undone.

  1. Scan IncludePress reads the pages the site already publishes, including posts, pages, and WooCommerce screens.
  2. Review A finding is a WCAG failure, an advisory, or a manual check. You choose what to change.
  3. Fix the HTML An approved fix is written into the content, or applied when the page is rendered, and labeled so you know which.

The Site Scan demo shows a logged-out crawl. The Contrast Checker, the Heading Checker, and the Alt Text Report are the first checks. Fixes come in a later demo.
